Jack O' The Clock recently completed music for a documentary film by Duane Moles entitled "The Naked Guy." It chronicles the brief rise to noteriety and subsequent mental collapse of U.C. Berkeley student Andrew Martinez in the 1990s. We are excited to have been a part of this project! It will be completed in June 2009 and hopefully appearing in various film festivals later in the year.
Music by Damon Waitkus, featuring some Jack O' The Clock premixes and remixes, has appeared in two other recent documentaries:
"Carny Girl," a film by Erin Fitzgerald, is a portrait of the changing landscape of the carnival business as told by three generations of women who have worked within it. It appeared in the Coney Island Film Festival in 2008.
"In The Blood," by Vianna Risa Davila, looks into the lives of a father and son team of "stringers" - freelance cameramen who gather footage of crime scenes and accidents which occur in the night and sell it to the local news stations - living in and operating out of San Antonio, Texas. It will also be finished by June of 2009.
